Basically my topic is about what the average self defense weapon owner should know for the safety of him/herself and for the safety of others. The weapons are a tool and are just as dangerous as a chainsaw. They should be properly stored and the owner should know how to use the weapon safely when in a not life threading situation.


My Research Project is on the right and responsibilities of owning a self defense weapon. It states in the second amendment that the right to bare arms such not be infringed upon. The reason why this is important is because the average citizen has the right to defend him/her-self if put in a life-threatening situation. Also the owner of the weapon should be knowledgeable of all laws, should have prober understanding of the weapon, and have proper knowledge on how to safely use that weapon when not in a life threatening situation.

I am reading John Wooden On Leadership,  this book has changed my mindset because it covers all of the stuff that you think will be covered in a book like that, but when I got about half way through it  the former player wrote about how he made UCLA so successful. He cared so much that the first thing and the first practice and the first year of coaching he taught all of his players how to put on their gym socks on correctly.

The reason that he did that is because he whited to prevent the players from get blisters, that would in the end effect the play of the team. So the way it has changed me was to do the small things right, whether if it carrying something for someone, holding the door open for somebody, or even picking up a piece of trash. When you do the little things right somehow the big things will fall perfectly in to place.

Why is My Topic Important

The reason why my topic is important is because as a owner of a self defense weapon you have moral duty to protect yourself and others only when you believe you are,in a life threatening situation. The weapon could be from an assault weapon to a spray can of pepper spray. There are also many difference types of self defense weapons, there is a gun, knife, taser, and pepper spray.

Now there are many different types of each weapon, but all can cause harm to you and others. Everyone should handle the self defense weapon/weapons with great care, due to their extreme danger. The weapons should only be used if your person is in a potentially life threatening situation.
