I think the main idea or them in the book is has a lot to do with the quote "Fair is foul and foul is fair" from the sisters. I say this because in the beginning Macbeth is said to be good or fair but by the end to the book he will kill anybody without hesitation which bad or foul. Another reason I say this is because Lady Macbeth is normal and not crazy but by the end on the book she has gone insane which again is foul.
Also the test where Macduff is trying to get Malcolm who has right to the throne back. I say this because Malcolm is saying thing that he will do which are very bad things but in the end he is good.

quote + reading times
The quote that I think is important is "Fair is foul, and foul is fair". The reason I say this is because it has many meanings. Such as fair could mean good, pretty, nice, honest, or even whether. While foul is just the same way it can mean many things such as, ugly, rude, scary, mean, whether, or even having something to do with a bird.
Because the different meanings of the words This quote can be confusing if not taken seriously or not putting the effort into the quote trying to understand it. also because the witches are saying this It can be interpreted in many different ways.
