The quote that I think is important is "Fair is foul, and foul is fair". The reason I say this is because it has many meanings. Such as fair could mean good, pretty, nice, honest, or even whether. While foul is just the same way it can mean many things such as, ugly, rude, scary, mean, whether, or even having something to do with a bird.
Because the different meanings of the words This quote can be confusing if not taken seriously or not putting the effort into the quote trying to understand it. also because the witches are saying this It can be interpreted in many different ways.

Hi Dell:
ReplyDeleteI chose the same quote as you did! I like how you explained the meaning of fair and foul, but I think it would have made a bigger impact on your post if you would have explained how it applied to the play as a whole!
Great job though!

Hey Dell:
ReplyDeleteI really like this quote. I seems to be a popular choice. I like how you broke it down and really got to show to meaning of each word. Good job. Do you like this book so far?

Hey Dell,
ReplyDeleteI never thought about the different meanings of the word. That is very interesting though.
