Research post

Basically my topic is about what the average self defense weapon owner should know for the safety of him/herself and for the safety of others. The weapons are a tool and are just as dangerous as a chainsaw. They should be properly stored and the owner should know how to use the weapon safely when in a not life threading situation.


My Research Project is on the right and responsibilities of owning a self defense weapon. It states in the second amendment that the right to bare arms such not be infringed upon. The reason why this is important is because the average citizen has the right to defend him/her-self if put in a life-threatening situation. Also the owner of the weapon should be knowledgeable of all laws, should have prober understanding of the weapon, and have proper knowledge on how to safely use that weapon when not in a life threatening situation.

    I like your topic, it is very thought provoking. The controversy on this topic is prominent in the modern world makes this topic interesting. I can't wait to see where you take this in your paper.

    Hey Dell,
    Your topic sounds really cool, but kind of complicated. Are you doing just the US? Are there different laws for firearms and things like swords or bow and arrows? Good post.
